I was going through a heap of old photos the other day and stumbled over 3 photos from our concert at Stockholm Music Open back in 2000. Very crappy pics though, not in focus and all that stuff. But I thought it was quite fun non the less so I upped 2 of them to flickr.

I think we were planning to drop something for he longest but we put it on hold cause we had no plan to make any type conceptual shit (although that’s a concept as well) and we were really not into doing something half assed and negotiated… So instead we made tons of sketches of tracks that never got released… some great and some kind of lame but all very real and they were all mad fun to make… and on the real we are still around doing the same shit we always did… So that’s a fat middle finger to the industry… or something…
In any case I know we still are grinding on some music shit to one or another extent… I know Owl produced a bunch of tracks for Brooklyn Academy’s latest album. Me and Lion still working with some cats in Brooklyn (Spud, Fuol, Shiekh), Paris (S.O.D.) and Tokyo(spexsavers). When I’m in Sweden I usually try to hook with Owl to knock out some ill tunes and when I get drunk I usually pester Cougar and Iron to do more tunes… So I think we are shooting for the World tour in 2016… Still I think we just keep going doing our thing like we always did without any guidelines. Can’t stop wont stop… and basically fuck any type of bullshit.

Ok, so I’ve stumbled across a bunch of vids on youtube these last couple of days… One of my old remix of Aesop Rocks Bazooka Tooth and two old Smutsit tunes (I produced Bänga Ventiler and me & Lion co-produced Konstiga Aktiviteter). So I thought, what the hell, I’ll link em up here. The guy that uploded the Smutsit ones also put up a couple of tunes by Sherlock, possibly the best hip-hop to come out of Sweden… ever. So check those out as well.

Me and IronGrip is working on a new tune, gonna be good whatever direction it takes I think. Still more or less in the planning stage, but we’ve got some of it ready already. None of us really knows where it’s gonna go yet, but it’ll come together as we move along, it always does.
And me and Wolf also did a couple of tunes a while back. I lost the damn arrangements tho, but luckily I had some early backups of em, so I’ll get on mixing those up proper again and we’ll see if we can’t get some previews on for y’all.. no more delaying on my end hehe.

After some requests I’ve tried to compile a “recordography”, of sorts, of old Smutsit & Royal Blood recordings. Some of y’all might remember us, but most of you have probably never heard of us. Smutsit & Royal Blood was two hiphop groups from Stockholm-Sweden, consisting of more or less the same people. Smutsit (tr. Dirty) was the Swedish version & Royal Blood the English.
