Strange Famous Forum Collaboration

sffcollabSubmitted a beat for a Strange Famous forum collaboration a week or two ago, and now it’s all done and available for anyone to grab.

It’s free and was made by SFR Forum regulars (and myself heh), put together and organized by AdamBomb, thanks man, turned out good. It’s mostly hip-hop, but not exclusively, some other genres represented as well and most of it got vocals and all that jazz.

So head over and pick it up. Here’s a direct link to the thread.

“A lot of forum members get name dropped in here” – AdamBomb

AdamBomb – Anna Log
“I made this using old analog synths and tape echo effects (no soft synths or vsts!). Retro futuristic dirty type sheeee-it.” – AB

Rolling Blackout (medicineman) – A Toast to Oblivion
“‘scalled “A Toast To Oblivion”…Rolling Blackout is the group…”
“a certain pessimistic take on the destiny of man proceeding from
apathy to protest to grim acceptance to celebration”

Domestic Robot (kritikal) – A Wavelength
“Domestic Robot is an artist from Ann Arbor, MI mixing electronic and acoustic
instruments with boom bap break beats and heartfelt vocals.

Atari Blitzkrieg – August Plush

atari blitzkrieg - august plush Atari Blitzkrieg… One of the most active & productive people I’ve ever met, put out a free compilation a couple of days ago, August Plush. It’s a cross section of his many EP’s, plus some unreleased and new tunes. So if you’re not familiar with him, head over to his homepage (iamsubstance.com), sign up for his newsletter, and grab the 34 track compilation.

Featuring production by Atari, Krohme, Bronze Nazareth, Moka Only and a bunch of others, with guest appearances by Royce Da 5’9, Breez Evahflowin, Vast Aire, Sadat X, Louis Logic and LMNO… to name a few.  It should be a nice starting point and a good first glance into his world. At the moment he got several new projects going, one with yours truley, which will see the light of day later on this fall.

Did I mention it was free…? Check it out folks!
