Beat Feed Instrumentals – Episode 56

In this single producer showcase, we feature an exceptional artist who’s no stranger to the feed, the mighty MagOwl. I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with two projects with him so far, Breez Evahflowin‘s Unearthed Past release and just recently Breez’s As He Goes On LP, and hope to collab with him more in the near future. He’s also a graph artist, painter and photographer, but of course we’re featuring MagOwl the musician, so lets get into the tracks featured here. First up is the beat for a Blame One joint “The Illest ft. Anthony Rutkowski”. This is one of a couple songs off Blame’s new LP Endurance that was produced by MagOwl. Second is a track produced for Atari Blitzkrieg called “An Evening in Tokyo featuring Fuca Chan”. This cut is off Perfect Blue, a release from Atari dedicated to the influential anime director Satoshi Kon, who recently lost his battle with cancer. Closing out the episode is the beat for the song “Men Behind the Sun ft. Jak Progresso”. That’s off the Unusual Suspects release Unusuowl. A fitting name indeed. You know the science. Support MagOwl by purchasing music featuring his production. And help spread the word! Peace. Dirt E. Dutch – Beat Feed

Beat Feed Instrumentals – Episode 45

Here is another sub-heavy smash from the good homie MagOwl. It’s called “Voodoo Express”, and no matter how high you turn up this producer from Sweden, his sound stays consistantly sweet. Feeling MagOwl? Follow him on Twitter. Second up to bat is Humble Modesto, with the track “Won”, off his new release This Is For…, which is available now from End of Earth Records. Wrapping it up is Bronx native Lex Boogie, with the track “Buck Rogers”. That’s off his free instrumentals release called Lex in Space. The project is based on bending the gritty genre of Hip Hop production he is known for and blending it with cosmic twist and turns that could only be described as “Out of this world”. Use the links. Spread the word. Support these artists! Peace. – Dirt E. Dutch, Beat Feed

Beat Feed Instrumentals – Episode 26

The official blurb:

The marvelous production of MagOwl revisits the show with the beat to Brooklyn Academy‘s track “Splash ft. Killah Priest”. That’s off BK Academy’s latest release Bored of Education. Second is a beat to a track I already consider a classic and happens to feature BK Academy MC Block McCloud on the chorus. It’s Sean Price‘s single “Mess You Made” and it’s produced by Masse of the Salizar Brothers. Jesus Price Superstar is the album for that single. We wrap up number 26 with the legendary Kool Keith‘s 1997 album Sex Style, where he goes by the alias “Big Willie Keith. The beat is for the song “Little Girls” produced by KutMasta Kurt. Show support. Use the links. Make a purchase. Peace! – Dirt E. Dutch, Beat Feed

Oddisee casts the next spell, with the beat for the song “Cold for That” off his Mental Liberation Instrumentals release, and the final magic missle comes courtesy of JK1 the Supernova, an upcoming producer/MC from Florida by way of CT. The track is called “Mayfloured”, and its from his new free instrumentals release The Dusty Budda Stash. Show some love, use the links. Peace! – Dirt E. Dutch, Beat Feed
