Been Thinking…
Been thinking it’s about time I put out another remix compilation, but I can’t decide if I should gather all the ones I’ve made since last time and use those. Or if I should do like a week long marathon and make maybe 12 tracks or something. Or I could combine the two and choose maybe five of my fav remixes from the last year and make 8-10 more. That’d make it loose consistency tho.
Or maybe I should take a different route this time and make a beattape, but I’m a bit reluctant to do that, at least without it being a proper release. I don’t really wanna give away say 12 beats for free.. if I wanted todo freebeats I’d done so already.
I’m leaning towards the marathon session to be honest, It’ll make it consistent… maybe do one tune a day for two weeks, make it into a snapshot of the life of magOwl over that period of time, like a 3h x 14days sized abstract painting, showing both the bad and the ugly. If I’m not too hungover tomorrow I think I’ll fire up this little mini-project. Maybe paint/photo/construct a 10×10 picture a day as well to fleshen it out a little… meat-helmet mode.
