2 Weeks 3 Hours: Day 01 – The Cause
First tune and pic all done. Jazz samples, a little glitch, a couple of blips, bass and lots of drums as usual. It got a bit static, but it’s the first one out so that’s cool. Google collage. Recipe.. type words into google image search, “the cause” for instance, save some images, fire up photoshop, blend, erase, draw. All done.

Nice nice man, so how do you put the beats and images together, I’m a geek and would still love to know what platform your usin to get this together. Your a cubase man??

Yeah I should probably write a little more about how I did the tune & pic every day hehe. Been thinking about doing a bunch of short vids showing the process, for one of the days at least.
For this one I went my usual route… sample hunting –> cutting the samples up in WaveLab –> correcting them in Cubase –> and made the beat in Renoise. Vocals I fixed up, timestretched and cut in Cubase, then imported in Renoise.
As for this pic I actually just googled “the cause” for pictures and made a collage using some of the results in Photoshop.
